Default Trail ride with pics/videos

Last Saturday I went out to the mountains which is 20mins from the house with 2 of my friends with Jeep TJ's. It was the first time taking this trial all the way. Man what a blast. 5 hours to complete with tons of rocks and deep mud pits and ruts. Very little snow. I got to say my truck must love branches and trees it just couldn't say away from them.

This TJ has 33's and just installed a rear Lockright in the rear axle.

This TJ has 35's and front and rear ARB lockers.

Now on to the damage report!

1. The morning before we left I was adjusting my mirrors and my electronic switch decides to fail. The motor kept on going. I had to dig around and unplug the mirror. I had a spare switch I swapped in the next day. I also tightened up the mirrors, due to all the branches the became loose.

2. The truck got shanked by a punk tree. Luckily I had a spare side grill piece. Replaced the next day. Good thing it didn't kill the head light housing.

3. The driveshaft got a good size dent in it. It was from that tall rock step in the first post. I was climbing up it when I got the hit. I turned around for a good photo.
$80 at the junkyard. Here is the cleaned up new driveshaft and old damaged one.

On the road the ride is not to bad, just a little stiff but it is a truck so I don't expect much. Without a stabilizer bar it can get good body lean on fast turns.

What is funny is I got 12in suspension lift but I keep on the 2in body lift. LOL for me the reason is to give me clearance in between the engine/transmission and the body.

And I know this should be in the General section, I will move it after a few days. I don't think the moderator will mind, LOL.

I was gonna ask if you still had it cause you did a damn good job of moving the front bumper up. It looks seamless and untouched compared to most I've seen. And I'd keep it on for the clearance too.
