99 durango front axel f****d !!fixed!!
was turning around last night in my durango, then clunk! looked under the front end, the drive shaft broke off the front axel and the pumpkin is pointing straight up in the air, looks like some sort of brace or bracket broke, just bought this truck last week, dealer said they would fix it but what would cause this to happen?? i was turning around in a tight spot, going maybe 2-3 mph
What casue it to happen? It broke.
You just bought it? Odds are good neither differential has ever been serviced and same probably goes for the transmission. Either have them throughly inspected while back at the dealer or take the truck back. If they haven't been serviced, and it sounds like it due to parts breaking like that, then you have much bigger bills in your future.
Sorry.

no this durango has been beautifully taken care of, the previous owner used royal purple in everything, the leather is perfect, runs like a new one it only has 90,000 miles, it does have like a 4-5 inch lift on it maybe that has somthing to do with it.
i really dont know there are some big *** brackets under there with TS ingraved in them, cant wait to get the thing back so i can post some pics. the ground clearance in the front under the skid plate is really
F-ing low for some reason.

WTF is that?!?
Not normal obviously. So much for your statement above that the D was "has been beautifully taken care of, the previous owner used royal purple in everything". He spent the money on fluids and provide a piece of **** suspension job.
You just bought that thruck like that at the dealer? No frackin' way. Take it back and get something else. They can not hide BS like that. That's not even safe.
