My trani is shifting mutiple times between 1st and 2nd. It is not throwing a code and when the mechanic dropped the pan we found two metal filings but also some "bronze" filings on the right side of the pan. The trani is under an extended warranty but at this time the mechanic feels that if we try to report a claim on it the warranty company will not deem it ready for a rebuild. I was basically sent home and told to wait until the trani begins giving me more problems...possibly resulting in more "evidence" in the pan or until it trips a trani code. We did have to adjust the throttle position cable as it was starting out in 2nd gear. That problem was fixed with the adjustment of the cable but then a governor code tripped...which we had fixed as well. Now it has started this multiple shifting issue and I am at a total loss as to what to do. It shift smoothly...just multiple times. No codes...little residue in pan....HELP!!!
