Default dome light always on?

my girlfriend has a 99 dodge durango 2 wd with a 318 and a automation trans. that i tried to insall a amp and 2 subs into. now when i hooked up the amp the engine would not run and the check engine light came on but then it quit and i cleared the codes from the pcm with a diagnostics machine. and it runs fine now with the amp unhooked. so it ran fine.. then i got the amp and subs to work just fine and left the durango alone for about 5 hours and came back to get it. when i got back in the check engine light was on and it was driving slugish and felt as if it woudlnt go into overdive because it was in limp mode. i hooked ODBII up to the pcm today and pulled 2 codes about trans solonoid and oen other. i then repalced the trans relay and cleared the codes and it was fine. aftetr this the battery was dead so i charged it and while charing it i reinstalled the amp and then the durango wouldnt start...it was doing what it did before. it would crank over but not idle. if i gave it throttle it would run but otherwise it wouldnt. after this i pused it out of the way so my friend could get a truck on out alignment rack and then it started right up after that. the check engine light was still on. I ran ODBII on it again and cleared the codes that were stored in the pcm and now it's fine. check engien light is off, drives right and everything. the only other thing i'v done to it is repalced a turn 2 15 amp fuse in the fuse block in the cab and i repalced a 20 amp power outlet fuse in the fuse block under the hood. and now the dome light will stay on but the switch is off. i know the simple fix for this is to pull the fuse but the same fuse controlls the radio and it will not function without it. the other simple fix is removing the light bulb fromt he dome light and i'm going to do that until i fiquire out why it stays on now.

can anyone provide some advice as to why this light will not go off? thanks in advance
