Default 2000 Durango 4.7L runs rough

Hi. I have a 2000 Dodge Durango 4.7L that isdriving me nuts. It is throwing a bank 1 too lean code, yet it pours black smoke out of the exhaust when I stomp it, runs real rough, and stinks of exhaust inside the truck. No exhaust leaks, new O2 sensors, just cleaned Throttle body, new TPS and no vacuum leaks. Any ideas? Thanks.

The next thing I'd do if I was you would be to check my plugs, wires and injectors. If it's running lean it may be dirty or a plugged injector.

Could be a dirty MAP sensor. Also a bad or dirty IAS sensor.

Also what ignition components are you using and how old are they?

First, I would like to say thanks for the responses. I replaced the plugs with Bosch platinum about 3 months ago and haven't had any problems until now. I also replaced the air filter about 3 months ago, and also yesterday. I will work on the suggestions tomorrow. Thanks.

next time you change the pulgs go with Champion Truck Plugs, you will most likely notice your D running smoother than with any platinum plug. Thats pretty much agreed on by everybody here on DodgeForum.
Do a search for plugs and look at how many threads of which plugs to use have been started (if you're bored and/or are looking for any excuse not to study for exams like I am)

OK, so here is the latest in my dilemna. I pulled the Bosch platinums to replace them with Champions, and every single plug was pure black. All this after my check engine light is telling me it is too lean in bank one. Any ideas? Thanks.
