MPG
Man, I got all of you beat, I get 30 MPG in the city!!! Oh wait, I think that's 30 gallons per mile!! HAHAHA! I laugh every time I see a thread like this of some jack who bought a Durango and is upset because his Durango SUCKS gas. Wow. It is amusing because I can remember when I was typing the same thread. But seriously I can get 30 gallons per mile..............riding off a cliff.............with the engine off.............and a stiff tailwind!
well in aswer to your question... there are a few things that can be done.....
your first step is get your motor MORE cooler air faster...... this means K&N or better yet Cold air intake..
your next step is get the exaust out of your motor faster and at more volume... this means make yoru exaust system less restrictive... wether it be bigger exaust or gutter cat or 1-2 flowmasters.. what ever.. exaust work must be done..
the more air in and the more air out makes your motor more efficiant and uses less gas..
also what helped me is trash the clutch fan and put an istall an electric fan with a thermostat... the clutch fan runs nonstop puttign stress on the motor causing it to use more gas to keep it running thus reducing yoru gas milage.. The fan only helped me about 2-3 miles per gallon but with gas prices today thats 2-3 more miles you dont have to push...
I get about 19-20 city and 23-25 on the highway

That's some insane gas mileage from a durango; what engine do you have? I have heard that changing to an electric fan is about a 3mpg increase, I'm thinking about doing an efan swap sometime down the road. I have also heard that switching to synthetics will gain you a mpg or two. I'll see about that in a bit as I have some royal purple synthetic sitting on my work bench right waiting to be put in my truck.
