Default riding on front bumpstop

maybe someone can help me

I noticed the other day while under my durango that the driver side suspension is resting on the bumpstop, the passenger side is about half a inch off the lower arm. How can this be corrected? new front shocks? or is it okay to ride on it just a little more rough I guess

any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated

thanks

I've seen this before. It is a good thing to have your torsion bars turned up and a camber and 4 wheel alignment to correct the problem. The problem is that the rear springs start to sag down and a owner will take it to a shop ane they will turn it down to match the rear. You might have to put a shackle lift on the rear when you have the front adjusted up because the front will be higher than the rear. This is easily corrected and inexpensive. It isn't going to put extra strain on the control arm but you need to get it corrected. Don't leave it for very long like that.

It's simple to crank the torsion bars but you want to make sure they are even on both sides. Just lift the D and crank the bolts clockwise for lift and counter clockwise to lower them. One full rotation equals 1/4" lift or drop.
