vaccuum hose under dash??

vaccuum hose under dash??
this is hanging under the dash board. anybody know what it goes to. i really don't want to disassemble the dash but i cant feel anything it should go to. any help appreciated!

That is from one of the environment controls. I cut the other end loose on a junkyard D and saw them (the hoses) all. Each is a different color, all coming off the back of a manifold on the back of the AC/Fan/Heat/Defrost ****. Never seen it from the other end.
Why you can't post pix... I can't from my daily Mac using Safari, but can on my Mac using Explorer. The forum software has some compatibility issues with various browsers.
