Default Constant dead battery.

I have a 1 year old battery and I only drive my truck about 1x a week The last few weeks the battery has been dead. The current draw on the - side with the truck off and the hood light off is about 37ma. On the + side it is about 160ma. I took the truck to autozone and they hood it up to the tester and said that the alternator current was low but he did not say the alturnator was bad. I think it was reading .5amps. Once I jump start it or charge the battery it will run just fine. Any ideas?

you have a parasitic draw somewhere, could be something as small as a light staying on *cough* glovebox *cough*, just go though and make sure everything is off, when it should be

I had the same problem, finally figured out the wiper on the back window was drawing all the time, it had not worked for several months, so we disconnected it and all better now.
