Whats up guys? We've had a Durango in the family stable for 5 years now and has racked up 160,000 without a single engine problem. great car!

here's the dilemna. Recently, it has begun throwing a PO420 code (catalytic inefficency) which leads me to believe that the main cat needs to be replaced.

Would it be possible to get an aftermarket catalytic converter unit in there? spending 500+ for a new one from the factory is not a desirable option. If so, can you point me out some brands/places that perform the procedure? I am not too expierenced with durango aftermarket.

don't just asume it's the cat make sure the down stream o2 is working .
