turn signals
i have a 1999 dodge durango my signals will blink a couple of times then stop working it does it both on the left and the right have replaced the switch, and the relay i was told to replace the flasher but cant find one anywhere on the vehicle any suggestions or ideas
Open the driver door. There is a fuse box there. Directly on the other side of the box is a blue (If I recall...) flasher relay. You have to go like straight up from the E-Brake. You won't be able to see it with out moving wires and wires and more wires, but is like elbow lenght up the wall. Same thing happened to me on my D, same year. It's like $12 at the zone. It's a pain to get to and you will scrap the crap out of your hand, but it's there.
well that's the flasher. You replaced the actual accessary switch with the wipers/signal etc? If you still have the old flasher, check and see if it is burnt at all. Mine was visibly burnt on the outside case. If it was then maybe your new one isn't in right. Could be hard to line up...
