Default Low power on a 360!! Fed UP!!

So heres the deal.
It's a 99 D with a new trans, 95k miles, CAI, 8.5mm MSD wires, new plugs (NGK) cap, rotor, (dont know what coil to get) Cat ectomy, Magnaflow muffler 3" (pipe still 2.5"). New O2 sensor. Just resealed the plenum.
Stock tire size (31's) all new brakes not hangin up.

Seems to run great all the time but after about 2k rpm it seems like its fighting it's self.
What I mean is from a stop if you floor it it takes right off till it hits approx 2k then the rate of acell drops off.
On the freeway cruising @ say 75mph and you decide to overtake the car in front of you so just enough peddle to get it to kick down, it just makes allot of noise. It does go faster but for a 360 it seems to just be gutless.
I'm pretty sure my Saturn could out run this thing no problem...

Suggestions? Comments? Questions?

Getting REALLY frustrated here..

Oh ya, where the HELL is the fuel filter??? Wouldnt I get a SEL if it was plugged enough to cause what I'm experiancing?

I believe the fuel filter is in the fuel tank on these Durangos.

Zuk did you ever get the PCM worked out??? My best guess is that if you didn't the PCM is just treating the 360 like a 318.

I’m running MSD coil Part #(8228) and have good results. If you want to use the OEM clip you need an additional wiring harness made by Accel (part # #140021AH). The fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank and is considered non-serviceable.
I’d clean the fuel injectors first. If that did not solve your issue then it might be electrical, faulty sensor, etc…

He swapped the 5.2 out for a 5.9 when his 5.2 took a dump.
