No rear heat.
Well if it blows air, thats good cause the fan motor isn't cheap.
Under the passenger side of the vehicle at the back end/ tailgate, crawl under there and you'll see above the tail pipe, before the rear bumper, 4 lines that run from the engine compartment to this area and go up and into the cabin area behind the passenger side interior pannel at the tailgate. 2 of these lines are the suction and liquid lines for the ac rearevap, the other 2 are heater core hoses.
Inspect the lines for leaks, then pull the passenger side interior pannel at the tailgate, this will uncover the rear blower motor assembly, evaporator and heater core. It's alot easier to get at than the one burried under the dash for the front.
After opening it up so you can get at it, crank the heat full blast for a while, then carefully feel the heater core to see if it got hot, if not there's a flow issue, most likely a plugged up core, if you're lucky it might be an air damper stuck and not directing air through the heater core, or if you bought it used the last owner may have bypassed the core.
Unfortunately the only place I could find a new heater core was wholesalemopar.com and they want $125 so if it was me I'd search the local pick-a-part for it.

Fixed it! It was the baffle located in the rear HVAC housing. This is accessed by removing the interior panel on the passenger side at the back of theDurango. The baffle is operated by a servo near the middle of the houseing. I replaced it and the hear worked great. The only problem was that the actual baffle could not be purchased without buying the whole housing. $120. The Dodge dealer noted that these things have been going out a lot lately. He advised to have this checked before venturing on taking the dash out.
