to me it looks like the back of my durango sits a little bit lower than the front. is this caused by worn out shocks. if I get new shocks will it raise it at all?

No.

You can lower the front end if you want and have it 4 wheel aligned.

alright thanks. is there something that would cause it to be slightly lower? and also how would I go about lowering the front end? this won't mess up the 4 wheel drive will it?

hey ya'll I'm in a dilema. I got some rims for my D and I need a new tire for one. I checked out some prices. The size is 265/45r20, that will run me from $160-$204. I was told that that size on D's dosen't fit well. They advised 275/40r20 or 295/45r20. What do ya'll think????

i tihnk 20" rims do not belong on a durango, too big to get decent rubber on them and you run the risk of damaging the rims every time you hit a pothole. just my .02

The front end is normally lower than the rear OEM so no need to worry.

well it's the rear that's a little lower than the front. I had asked about a 4 wheel alignment in another thread from you and I'll ask if they're going to check the height of the front end and see if it needs to be lowered at all when they do the 4 wheel alignment.
