Newbie...need help with Tune up on my 4.7 2001 Rango! Please and Thank you
Hi. I am the proud owner of this fun truck. it has 50k miles on it. It needs a tune bad.
Besides for plugs, air filter, oil and oil filter...what else can I do?
I want to do the tranny flush..is it difficult? how many quarts do I need? thanx guys!

Careful with thranny flushes, if there is crud built up in there and it comes loose you may be singing the blues. If you want you can also clean the throttle body, that wowldn't hurt anything.

Don't forget the transfer case and both axles. They need to be drained and refilled with fresh lube.
ATF+4 for the tranny and xfer case, and Mobil 1 or Royal Purple 75-90 for the axles
