Default tires

i have 2002 durango i will like to know if i can put tires size 265 75 16 on my truck, i know the the original size is 265 70 16 but the tires that i want only come in 265 75 16 thank you ley

Ley,

You should be able to no problem. Going from 70 to 75 makes your tire slightly taller so you may need to watch your speedo to make sure it is still pretty much on target with the speed it is showing. If not, what will happen is whatever speed your speedo says, your true speed may be slightly faster.

Taller tires will make your speedo read slower than actual speed, shorter tires will make your speedo read faster than actual speed.

Those are the same size tires that were on mine when I bought it used and the stock were 265 70 16 and I don't have any issues. Of course, your speedometer will be a little off, but I don't think it is a huge deal. I like the look of the 75 over the 70 anyway.

I had 265 75 16 on mine n/p.... just get a P metric rather than LT
