Update: 10/07/07I should've gave an update while back ago but wanted to make sure no more problems persisted. It has been 2 weeks now after doing a radiator flush and so far so good, no more issues with trying to run hot.

I would have the whole cooling system inspected further if you have to double flush your radiator. These are signs that your cooling system is really contaminated. So keep an eye on the coolant to make sure the coolant is clean. If your engine starts to overheat soon and everything checks out, it may be a sign that the radiator itself is need of replacement. When you are ready to go that route, you might as well change out the pump and fan clutch (if needed) as you will have easy access to it with the radiator removed.

This update is long overdue but it turns out the whole over heating issue I had with my 2000 Durango was all due to the fan clutch going out. After replacing the fan clutch months and months ago, it has not over heated ever since.

Thank you all for the help.
