Default passenger windows not working

In my 2002 Durango Sometimes the passenger windows wont work and the driver has to control them. The button is up which allows the passengers to control their own window and still they can not. Nothing else electrical is having problems. Cansomeone tell me what is wrong?

Yes the window works from the driver side door and sometimes (for unknown reasons) they will work for the passengers from their own doors. However most the timethe driverhas to work the windows. Now there is a button on the driver side door tolock the window use from the passengers howeverit isin the off position.

Another common problem with the power windows is the wiring assemby on the driver's side may have come loose where it can periodically or permanently lose control of some or all your power windows.Remove the 5 screws holding on the plastic door trim and unlock the plastic clip that is holding the door lever to the handle on the trim and lift straight up on the door trim. Then you can unseat the power wiring harness to the window switch console and reseat it.

If your driver console can still control the windows but the control at the passenger side does not work, perform the same thing on the passenger door by removing the plastic trim and then unseat/reseat the power wiring harness. If this does not work, then at this time, you can go a step further by performing the procedure that mean green posted.
