Default Durango with a battery drain

About once a week I go out and my Durango is dead. I am pulling 5.2 amps with everything off. So I started pulling fuses, the number 12 fuse is the culperate (interior). This fuse runs alot, my radio, interior lights ect. After a while of pulling fuses, flipping switches, turning on and off the radio the drain quits and it returns to about a normal 0.2 amp pull. Then I am really stuck because I can't find whats wrong when its not pulling the 5 amps anymore. Anyone have any ideas, I have tried to turn things on and off, one at a time, and short of the headlights I can't even find anything the pulls nearly 5 amps. It is a problem that only happens about 1 out of 7 nights. It is sitting dead in my driveway now so at least I can start hunting for it again. Thanks for any advise. Brent
