Well here just the other day i blew the radiator tank in my 99 durango iv got me a new radiator on the way and i figured id replace my hoses and my "thermostat" but i cant get the dang thing to come out, on my exes old car it just poped right out, but i cant get it to budge at all on mine, i was going to replace it with a 180 degree thermostat, in ideas on getn it out?

 

The housing won't budge or the t-stat isstuck itself???

with the housing I would just take a rubber hammer/mallet and tap it all around, it will break free. As far as the t-stat (I think I had this problem before) grab onto it with a pair of vice grips and pull on it like a mother or find a suitable place to get leverage and go at it that way.

 

yeah the t stat the housing came off fine so i guess ima get to pulln lol thanks man.
