Okay well there is one issue with this durango I want to buy (and the dealer said they would look into it) But anyway the radio turns on and operates normally, scans stations, etc. BUT no sound comes out of the speakers. no crackling, no little thump, nothing. dead. Any ideas what it could be? Its a 2002 R/T by the way, with the (I'm guessing) premium infinity sound.

I'm guessing there is a seperate amp, maybe the problem lies there? do they run on different fuses maybe??

does it have the stock radio in it?
If its aftermarket head unit and the set up is infinity it wont work unless you have the factory unit

 

I just got off the phone with the car dealer and they said there were no speakers in it and they replaced them and its ok now.

LOL wtf??

 

I guess that dealer's tech's dont really perform a decent used car inspection.if they missed that what else was missed?????
