Default has anybody changed the differential fluid?

anybody out there who has changed the differential fluid on their durango? If you have...can you access the rear speed sensor from inside the differential? I have a broken sensor in there and want to take out. The sensor plastic casing is stuck and spinning in its position. If it is accessible through the differential I could pop it out.

If I remember correctly. Maybe with a long screwdriver or somehing. But most likely I think you might have to pull out the carrier. Its not hard . Dont pull the pinion or else you have to rest it with a new crush sleave.

maybe the o-ring is still stuck and perhaps I can get it out with a o-ring remover?

I know you already fixed your sensor problem but to answer your question in this thread, no, you cannot get to the sensor from the inside of the rear diff just by removing the cover. You cannot even see it once you have the cover off.

thanks for that information because a lot of people where claiming it to be accessible through the differential case. this will save some people time and effort and it eliminates one option.
