Help, I have a 1999 Durango with a factory amp. I am installing a new in dash Stereo/DVD combo. I can not get the speakers to work. I hooked up a different speaker to the deck to see if it work and it does. I can not get the stock speakers to work. Do I need too wire the amp? Please help.

You will need to hook up the remote wire from your new deck to your remote wire for the factory amp also. If needed I have the wiring instrucitions in a pdf file. If you need the file e-mail me at mengland@charter.net

 

if it is the premiume sound all the speakers are 2 ohm your new deck is 4 ohm
