2000 Durango fan won't turn off
A fan in my 2000 Durango is not turning off even after the ignition is turned off. Needless to say, I have to disconnect my battery line when not using the vehicle -- not sure if there's another switch/fuse somewhere else to cut power.
I am not entirely sure which fan is staying on, but it sounds close to the radiator (perhaps the radiator cooling fan).
The only information I've been able to find relates to a blower motor resistor, but I am not sure if replacing that will fix this particular problem. I am by no means a mechanic or close to, however I am very inclined to fix this issue myself and maybe learn something from this.
Any information on what this problem might be and any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
Regards,
Frank
