Default D sometimes jerks when slowing down

Hi all,

New here. Hope someone can help me. I have a 2001, 4.7, 114,000 miles. This past weekend when I let my foot off the accelerator to slow, but not using the brakes yet. It jerked about 3-4 times. Kinda like the back wheels were trying to catch up to the front wheels or visa versa. Or maybe slow the others down. The next morning it happened again. It doesn't happen in the afternoon, just in the cold/cool morning. Any suggestions? Thx.

By the way. I love my Durango.

Hmm, check your tranny fluids to make sure it is not low. I had this issue but only on accelerating from a stop. Otherwise, it may be your torque converter having issues?
