I recently test drove the redesigned Durango w/hemi. I like the looks of the vehicle and the way it handles.I'm supposed to meet with the dealer Monday to get his bottomline price. Unfortunately, the vehicle I want is not in dealer stock within 250 miles so I'll probably have to place a factory order. Two quesions: Does anyone know how long it takes to receive a new order? For others who have already purchased an '04, what's your opinion of the vehicle - candidly?

I did not purchase the Durango w/Hemi but I test drove an 04. I was dealing with Dutchess Dodge in NY and they had about 15 of them. The power and handling was great for a large SUV. Due to the high demand the Dealer was not able to give me the price I wanted. Some of the options I was looking for...DVD, Towing, Leather, Moonroof. Still 36,000 for a New Generation vehicle was too steep for me. If I were to have ordered one, four weeks. As, I said, there were about 15 on the lot. I came back down to earth and bought a leftover 03 Quad Cab Ram 1500 which I love.Oh and paid 12,000 less. Hope thishelped.
