Okay, the question is this...

I have a 2001 R/T... I absolutely love it and have very minimal problems... I would love for it to be higher with some meaty tires (like all of my four wheel drive vehicles in the past). Is this not the vehicle to do this with? All of the raised Durangos I have seen are the SLT model... would I be ruining the higher end suspension by raising it up?

Didn't the Durango R/T come with 1" lowered suspension? I know the Dakota R/T did, but not sure about the Durango. There won't be any problem with lifting it if that what you want to do. In fact, if you want it just an inch higher, you could probably pick up somebody else's factory suspension for pretty cheap.

 

yes it is lowered by default, that was kind of the point to my question...
