My 2001 Durango (5.9, auto, 4x4) has the MIL light on. I checked with my OBDII reader and no codes are reported. Also checked by turning the ket on-off three times and got the "Pdone" code. I think I have read that some codes for the transmission and perhaps the ABS are not read by the lower end OBD II readers (mine is an Actron CP9135). Anyone know how to diagnose the "on" MIL light when no codes are being identified? I have replaced the gas cap, just in case it had a bad seal, but the light remains on.

I think you will have to find a shop that has one of the more in depth readers. You are correct that some codes are not readable by the DIY units.
