Default Wipers Does not look good

hello: could use some help here on my2003 durango, yesterday we got 4" of wet heavy snow and i was in a hurry and jumped in my durango and just hit the wipers instead of cleaning off the windshield .
well the wipers went to make the first swipe and only the passenger side moved , now the drivers side only works if there is no weight on the wiper like "snow"

does anyone no if there is some kind of shear pin under the wiper arm and or how would i go about fixing my screwup

Default RE: Wipers Does not look good

You might have stripped the wiper conectin it might look like a pinion gear either yu striped it in he wiper or on the connection take the wiper arm off and look. if it is striped you can either replace the stripped side from a junk yard, bye a new pieceor you you use a high strength adhiesive like j b weld, or similar and bond them together. problem with latter idea is possible faliure af glue joint resulting in needing both parts replaced good luck.
