Lockers
Deerang. Too bad you didnt know me earlier
I had purchased one from a freind, who had purchased it from another person. He did not have the money to fix it up and sold it to me. I had $4,500 put into the truck to fix it up and make it a really nice rig, surprisingly with the right gearing and transmission that 6cyl would walk over everything. Problem ended up being the title was claimed lost and the second title was actually under a lien. So the first person sold the vehicle with the first title that was never lost, and no one attempted to register/claim except me. The person who orig, owned the truck used a dealer tag for two years and isurance provided NYDMV with all the concerns and the guy dissapeared according to nydmv, and until he pays all such fee's etc etc i would not be able to officially title the truck. Talk about a loss of money. i was advised to sue in part both parties to recieve a refund/ and or title the truck but i would hae to sue my freind and then maybe never even find the other guy. Wrote it off and used it as a dressed field vehicle for awhile then just let it set, making sure to keep it up over the years. In the end told the junkyards first coe first serve, get it out.
