Whistling Noise
Does anyone have or have heard of a whistling noise on top of their Durango's when you are driving down the road and it is raining. This is the only time it happens. There is no noise when the weather is dry. I know it has something to do with my luggage rack.
the wistling is closer to the top edge of the windshield - the rack is farther back.
i'm used to it - i've had trucks that were much worse. its just a result of the aerodynamics of the front end of the durango. a bug deflector will usually change it (make it better/worse/ or change the speed at which it happens)

But why would it whistle when wet and not do it when dry? Seems a body panel or part may have come loose when wet and when air passes thru it, it will whistle.
If you suspect it is the luggage rack, take them off (they are detachable) and see if the noise goes away next time it rains.

no sunroof for me still does it. doesn't bother me though my old 94 dakota was a lot worse.

This may sound weird.. But try duct tape around your windsheild and drive it if the noise stops you know that you will have to seal the windsheild better. But for peets sake dont leave the duct tape on the truck...
Could it be the Radio antenna? I know they are designed with what looks like a wire spiraled around it but, could still whistle. or maybe even the weather stripping around the door(s).
