Hi, I have a 2000 Durango R/T, has anyone had any experience installing heated seat kits? Everything looks straight forward except the removal of the leather... I'm having trouble figuring out how it is fastened to the seat frame on the sides of the bottom, and the seam on the bottom of the seat back has me puzzled also.
I have not pulled the seats out yet but needed to know if I needed any special tools before I start.

I installed heated seat elements in my 99. I bought the carbon fiber kits on eBay. You don't need any special tools to remove the seat cover, just take the seat out (four bolts into the floor), remove the side trim on the bottom and have a close look at it-- it's pretty self-explanatory.
