I just bought an overhead console with homelink for my '98 D SLT, but come to find out the opening for the stock console is much larger than the opening needed for my new overhead console. I called up the dealership because I wanted to know if the headliner was interchangeable with one that was designed for the console I bought...'00, '01, etc. They told me that '99 was the only model interchangeable with my '98. Can anyone help me with this? Do you think I'll have to get a custom headliner or do you think the '99 headliner would work? Thanks!
