I bought a 1998 Durango a while ago and my wife hates the fact that the radio lights are so bright. In my PT Cruisers I can dim them. Is there any way to be able to do this in my Durango. The radio I have is the stock am/fm single cd one.

 

Yeah there should be a dimmer "wheel" on your left side. If you turn it all the way the dome light will come on, one click back and the lights (radio, overhead computer) will stay very bright, this is probably the setting you have it on, and one more click back and you can adjust the brightness. I have a 03 Durango and it is set up like that. You do mean when you have your lights on correct???
