Need HELP with 4x4!!
Hi all, new to Durangos, just picked up 2002 Durango SXT with a 4.7 v8. Can someone tell me if my truck is actually a 4x4? My switch has 2WD and 4W Lock. What does this mean and can I take this type of truck on the beach. Hope I didnt make big mistake. Thanks for any help, Rob

Sounds like it might be 4x4. Did you not check before buying it? That is kind of like buying a house and being dissappointed when you move in and there is no pool!
I had a buddy that bought a Explorer and swore it was a 4x4. After 2 years he still can not show me how to get it in 4 wheel drive.

Not being harsh, bad day at work and such. I imagine it is a easy mistake to do. To many buttons on trucks these days.
