What rear end.. new or old can i swap for my stock rear end 9.25??

I would think at minimum you could swap in a rear from any 1998-2002 D. Recall that disc brakes were added in 2003. Not sure if that would require other changes such as a different proportion valve or what.

You can go with either the 8.25 or 9.25. I would go with the 9.25 if you get the chance.

You also might pick one up with the limited slip or Anti Spin as Chrysler calls it since this is an easy way to add it if you don't already have it.
