I just bought a 98 4x4 durango and it has 31x10.5 tires on it, do you think I would have any problems with putting a set of 31x11.5 Super Swamper LTBs on it?
sorry for the delay, t/s (torsion/shackle) is just a quick and simple (Cheap as hell too) to get 2" of clearance for $25 bucks or so. You crank the front torsion bars 8 full turns and throw in a chevy p/u drop shackle ( Lowers for chevy, raises our D's) and wahlahh. if your interested i'll give you more info. The ride stiffens a bit (some say it doesnt) but its perfectly safe, ive had mine for several years and other twice as much with no problems.
Belltech 6400 is what we have been using, not sure as for other manufacturers. It is recomended to get an alignment afterwards, myself was lucky and alignment was fine.
They look like they'll fit our application, however they don't look as strong as the Beltech's. For me the price difference wouldnt be worth it... ~20 for the shackles then 18 for shiping... for 10$ difference I'd get the stronger, proven beltechs
