Default Panic Alarm problem, please help

Does anyone know how to turn off my Panic alarm for good. I guess if I do that it will also turn off the truck main alarm but that's okay. My panic alarm is driving me nuts because it goes off every time I use the either of my key fobs or the the key to unlock the doors. If you have an ideas please reply......Thanks Cor

Well before jumping into anything to deep i would recomend taking your fob apart and cleaning the contacts while replacing the battery. If that doesnt help you can try taping over the actuall Panic contact.

Thanks for the reply but it is not a fob problem. I have 2 fobs one new and one old and they both do it. At 1st I thought I might have been hitting the panic Alarm by accident, so I started being real carefull when I pushed the unlock key and the Panic Alarm still went off. I then have to press the lock button and then the unlock again to turn off the Alarm.....Thanks Cor

Are either of these Fobs the original fob that came with your durango? If not, it may be a improper programming?

Yes both are original and have worked fine for the last 6 years. One I used every day wearing out the battery and the second has been in my safe for the better part of 6 years with just an occasional use. Thanks for your reply.....Cor
