Default Strange Noise/Vibration

I don't really know how to describe this. Ocassionally, I get a vibration type noise that seems to come from just behind the driver's seat (underneath). I typically notice it at highway speeds. When it happens, I have released the accelerator pedal and then within seconds continued normal pressure on the accelerator and it goes away. It is typically when I am not accelerating, but when I have been maintaining a normal speed. Of course, I can't get it to do it when the mechanic can be around, so no clue how to figure out what it is or resolve it. Any ideas? Suggestions for what to try to replicate it when someone is around who can diagnose/repair it. UGH!

I don't think so.

I'm thinking a classic U-joint is going out. This is the classic sign. It is on the driveline.
