Default No Electrical

I have a 1998 Dodge Durango that has no electrical power at all. We have checked the battery, cleaned the terminals and verified the fuses, yet have no electrical to the dome lights, headlights, radio, automatic locks etc. After troubleshooting we have found that the steering column will not lock in place. Could the column not locking be the cause? ignition switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I checked all of the wiring harnesses. Still nothing!

Only owner, it was bought new and never really had any major problems with it until now.

How would I check/verify whether it's the central timing control?
