Default 2000 Durango, 4.7 4X4 Tranny Question

Quick history:
The only mechanical issue with the vehicleI have had is a tranmission sensor going bad about 4 years ago. $35, and it was fixed.

I got smacked by a lady running a red light at about 35MPH about 4 months ago. She hit me right on myleft front wheel.
It busted the transmission cooler, along with many otheritemsbutfor this topic they aren't relevant,so it had to be replaced along with the lines running to it.

It has been out for the shop (Dodge Dealer)for two months and late last week it would bump hard when driving through the neighborhood at 20 MPH and giving it a little gas.

Today on the highway going65-70MPH onmy way to work, it acted like the overdrive was slipping as I would lose a little forward momentum and the RPM's would bump up 200-300.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Thanks!

WD:

I believe your issues is caused by a failing TPS. Costs ~$40 at your local parts place, and takes about 15 minutes to change.

Do a search here for TPS, and you will see that it can cause the very issues you are having.
