What exaclty is evacuated on the ac system, what does that do for it? Also I put an a/c guage on my line today and it said the psi were to high...to take it to a mechanic? But the lines were cold.

Thanks

It should have been about 52 psi on the low side.

I wonder if they installed Synthetic freon for colder air.

Also being that low would do it.

Really....so I should charge it up to 52 psi and it will be fine? Or should I do the evacuate thing and have it refilled?

Well the e-vac pulled out air and drained the system then freon and oil was added to replenish it. The e-vac only vacumed the system (by law they can't just releaseany into the air) and after this your pump can grasp it and start working correctly. But at full capasity which you were not at then yes you would refill to that PSI with weather conditions as you explained but they change by temp and system.
