MSD Blaster SS Coil
I purchased a MSD Blaster SS for my 5.9l 2003 Durango.
I also was reading a post about the Blaster SS damaging a PCM:

I wonder if the coil could be installed without using the factory wiring. Just connecting it to an ignition powered positive and a chassis negative like I would if there would be no PCM. Would that work if leaving the factory coil and wiring in place as well? I thought I may just cap the coils post for safety, install the Blaster and connect it to the distributor, done.
Is there a better way of doing this?

First of all I can't even find the SS coil that goes to your rig. I don't even think they make them yet so I wonder why they wouldn't take it out????
