I have had this durango about 2 years and am planning on putting a diesel in the thing. I am tired of the awful mileage. I was wondering if I can simply plug a dodge diesel engine wiring harness up to the factory dash harness. I know that you can on the ram 1500's but I don't know if the durango, dakota, and ram share the same dash harness. Does any one know?

 

Never seen anything like it but it sounds like it could work. But the next question would be how are you going to connect the PCM and everything else??????????

 

I was planning on using the diesel sensors and diesel pcm from the donor vechicle to operate the dash and overhead, I just don't know if it will work or not. The wiring diagrams look like they should work but I didn't know if they used a different plug configuration, and if the instruments used the same operation.
