2003 durango suv, slt, 4x4, 85,000 ml

bought that car 05 with 18,000 ml mayor services done at dodge, oel change by my self. (twice a year)

last week, while driving, i lost oel pressure, and the engine shutting of, happens twice within 30 min.
brought the car to a dealer, they took the valve cover off and i saw today very much sludge build up.
per dealer the engine needs to be replaced.
i did bought a service contract, everybody is involved as of today.

by reading the internet, i find out that i am not alone.

i wonder if anybody has the same experience and can offer advice....
