Will 35x12.5 tires fit my stock durango?
Sorry if this has been posted before..I'm new and looked in the frequently asked questions and couldn't find what I was looking for. But yeah just a simple question if they will fit or not. Stock 15" wheels. Durango is an SLT if that makes any difference. tires Im looking to put on are 35x12.5's
Not without a 3 or 3+ inch lift with serious trimming front bumper and rear front inner wheel well. most have gone with 31's or32's for stock height. 35's will put some serious stress on all suspension parts

35's
3 inch body lift
Cranked T-bars and shackles
So what do yall think about that... Looks killer or not?
To bad they didn't make the wheel well larger and the Suspension stronger when they made the Durango
there are more pics in photo album.

Hot damn!!!!
As to answer your question: No they won't fit. You need a lift about 4 inchs. 33's will fit but they rub all over and it depends on where your T-bars are set to. You are better of going to the OEM 31X10.5X15's. Now that size tire where installed with the D's that came with a 3:92 gearing.

Nice picture dro. that thing looks pretty mean =P
Thanks for all the help guys,I'm probably going to just pick up a set of 31x10.5's and call it good for now. a 3" body lift isn't too expensive though is it?

How big of tires can I put on my 99 durango before it looks retarded and before I would have to put a lift on. I was told a 3 in lift would be very expensive. so I was thinking 25 to 30 in mickeys?????

The biggest tire size you can go at stock height is 31 inches 31x9.5 or 31x10.5 personally 31x10.5 looks the best at stock height you will have to get an alignment. If they rub after the alignment let me know and I can tell you how to easily make it stop rubbing. Do you plan to stay with the stock wheels?
I was going to use mickey thompson rims and 31" mickey thompson baha claw radials. I want to do a 3" BODY LIFT. I dont want a suspension lift cuz I dont want to spend that much. I'm already putting in a Flowmaster 40 series, nerf bars, bull bars, euro taillights, Memphis stereo system, Safri rack and a K&N cold air intake. I am also putting a chip in as well. I hope the body lift makes it look better with the 31" tires. What do you think???? I also appreciate the advice.
