I have a 99 D with a 5.2 and a trans problem. It pulls out fine in 1st no slipping then it shifts to 2nd where it will pull for about 15 seconds then you can feel it kick out like you put it in N. after that it wont pull in anything but first. I put a new pressure switch and pressure selinoid along with a speed output sensor and still has the same problem. Is my trans gone? or is there something else that could be the problem. Thanks in advance...

 

Mine did the same thing. Towed it to tranny shop, they dropped the pan and said it was full of metal parts/shavings.

Your tranny is toast.
