Need to program a remote for a 98 Durango I just bought. I have one working remote and the dealer gave me two others. Unfortunately I do not have the owners manual and figured I'd find this info easily on-line. That has proven not to be so easy. Does anyone have step by step instructions for programming the following remote?

Try this link. It has programming procedures for every make of remote for Dodge from 99-02. Since yours is a 98, it still may work. Who knows.

I think it is a dealer only item. On our 97 JGC it was but the dealer did it for free. These are the square remotes with the chrysler symbol on the front.

Some dealers chare to program transmitters. If it was a good customer of mine ours, we would do it for free.
