What "last guy"?

They are actually one of the recomended plugs for the 5.9L when I was searching on here.

And I'm sure there have been people that have blown their motor with other plugs too. I've run Autolites for a long time with no problems in several cars. (I didn't know if they worked well in the 4.7 that's why I said I didn't know about that engine.)

My last car was a 2000 VW Golf GLS 1.8 turbo and one of the best plugs for that car was the autolites. lol They did great under boost but only lasted about 8k miles under hard driving. Of course, they only took about 12 minutes for me to change on that car and cost about $5.

Many people on the vwvortex.com site run the autolites with no failures even with heavily modified VWs putting out over 400 hp in a 1.8 L 4 cyl.

I'm not disputing the fact of them not working in the 4.7 but the failure thing.

So you're equating using the WRONG plug with it causing the engine failure? It wouldn't have mattered what brand it was if it was for the wrong application.

Also, am I missing something or did you ban him for what is on that post right now? Did you delete one/some of his posts?
