Sould be on the drivers side of the trans about half way.

Not sure if there is an input transmission sensor on that one. About $25 bucks at the dealer.

 

Nearly 200,000 miles here on my D. I have the stocker and regularly serviced transmission. I never mess with the OD button. It's on and simply stays on. Zero problems to date.

Question about 3rd gear and finding it. The only way I can get this gear is to turn overdrive off and let it go into regular drive (4th). From there I turn the overdrive back on which then puts it into third until that range is no longer called for. Is there another method of manually selecting 3rd gear and keeping it engaged?
